The use of non-alcohol-based cleaning agents is the preferred approach for the reliability of instruments. It is possible to use alcohol-based wipes and cleaning agents, but care must be taken to avoid influencing the performance of the instrument.
With the instrument turned off, use a soft cloth and antibacterial spray or antibacterial wipes (best turned off before cleaning).
The outside of the instrument can be cleaned by wiping it over with a soft moist cloth followed by a soft dry cloth.
The screen of the instrument can be cleaned by wiping it over with a soft moist cloth followed by a soft dry cloth.
Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, or harsh cleaning agents, abrasive cleaning pads or chemicals.
Ensure that the green protective plug remains in the instrument throughout the cleaning process. DO NOT clean inside the cartridge entry cavity of the device. This will result in void of the warranty and may influence the performance of the instrument.
