There are many commercially available cleaning products with active ingredients made from chemical compounds shown to be effective in killing bacteria and some viruses, fungi, yeasts and protozoa.

There are two chemical compounds can be used for cleaning of Alcolizer Technology instruments when prepared in the correct concentrations, either Benzalkonium Chloride (BAK) or Sodium Hypochlorite (NaCIO). These compounds are shown as the ‘Active Ingredient’ in specification sheets and ingredient lists of commercial and household cleaning products.
