Alcolizer Technology is pleased to announce that all Alcolizer AS3547:2019 certified LE5, HH4 and HH3 devices purchased after 19th May 2021 will have a 12 month calibration period.
This is a great development of the Alcolizer handheld range and follows on from the certification of these devices to the latest Australian Standard AS3547:2019.
Alcolizer LE5, HH4 and HH3 AS3547:2019 devices currently in use by customers that are due for calibration will receive a 12-month calibration from 19th May onwards only if a purchase order for the new part number and value is received.
The new part numbers and costs for 12-month calibration are:
- 470145 LE5 Series Calibration Service (12 month) $280.00
- 310605 HH4 Calibration Service (12 months) $180.00
- 310305 HH3 Calibration Service (12 months) $180.00
Extension of the calibration period from 6 months to 12 months is only available for devices certified to AS3547:2019 that we’re sold from 1st August 2020. If you have an older Alcolizer LE5, HH4 or HH3 device that is certified to the 1997 standard it will only be able to receive 6 months calibration period.
There are significant benefits to the user by extending the calibration period to 12 months:
- Management time spent co-ordinating devices or modules to/from the Alcolizer service centre is halved
- Freight costs are reduced
- Risk of misplaced devices in-transit is reduced
- Device downtime and need for backup devices is reduced (HH4 & HH3 only)
