There has been confusion and speculation in the market recently about a change to the Australian Standard AS3547:2019 Breath alcohol testing devices.
On November 2nd Australian Standards advised this clause is now under review and out for public comment until December 12th then at this time these comments will be reviewed by the project team and a decision will be made to accept or reject the amendment.
It is disappointing all other manufacturers have not prepared their product in time to meet the original 28th December 2020 cut-off date for AS3547:2019 and only Alcolizer has achieved Certification to AS3547:2019 for their handheld devices, the Alcolizer LE5, Alcolizer HH4 and Alcolizer HH3.

At this time Alcolizer is the only manufacturer who has prioritised investment, development, testing and certification in time to meet the original scheduled cut-off date. Testing to the new standard must be completed in Europe so all manufacturers had access to these facilities.
