Upskilling?

There are a number of reasons why providing training and helping your employees develop new skills can benefit your business. Employees want to know that they’re valued, that they have purpose in their day to day role and are progressing towards future goals. By providing relevant and ongoing training you increase productivity and performance and keep them up-to-date with the latest and greatest information, trends, and best practices for their roles.

What are some training opportunities to consider? We offer 14 online courses for product and industry training and regularly update our offerings. Our education not only allows customers to have an extensive understanding of testing and how to use our devices but we also provide nationally accredited training that can have immediate benefits to your business.

Familiarisation Trainingthis training provides an understanding of how our devices work, the basic features, test types and maintenance. A great one to remember if you have new staff commencing who have not have had any experience with Alcolizer Technology devices.

Certified Operator Training – this training provides an in-depth understanding of the device, the advanced setting and features, the technology, maintenance requirements and AlcoCONNECT data platform. There is a quiz and a Certificate of Competency upon successful completion for students – see more details here.

What about Nationally Recognised Training & Immediate benefits for your business? People who come to work under the influence can put workplace safety at risk. Effectively managing drug and alcohol testing programs can greatly improve the health, safety, and overall well-being of your workplace. If you have an employee you would like to offer more responsibility to or are looking to increase your own skills to be able to commence workplace testing this is a great course to offer immediate benefits.

Our Nationally Recognised course has been developed to regulate testing and includes procedures for collecting, storing, handling, and transporting samples. It is intended for people who are looking to perform onsite Drug and Alcohol Testing and has been developed to address compliance requirements in accordance with the Australian Standards.

What employment pathways are available after completing the Nationally Recognised training? Immediately the training provides the ability to be able to perform testing within your workplace to reduce safety risks as well as future employment opportunities. This would include conducting drug and alcohol screening where there is a workplace health and safety requirement, as well as potentially mine sites, transport industries, large industrial sites and medical centres.

What feedback do we receive from our training? Here are just a few examples of the emails we receive from clients after completing our online training:

  • The training was easy to follow and had very practical information to take away and utilise in my workplace.
  • Very accommodating presenter with useful information and follow up material.
  • The trainer was very informative and was great at explaining the information. We feel confident using the devices with our employees now. Thank you
