Approved Breath Testing Devices
Given the critical nature of healthcare, AHPRA endorses only certified and vertified testing equipment inline with Australian Standards. Practitioners are strictly forbidden from working when their breath test shows a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) exceeding 0.01%, making reliable testing essential.
The AHPRA website lists their approved breath testing devices for practicioners, with devices requiring regular calibration inline with the Australian standard. Both the Alcolizer Technology LE5 and HH3 models are approved breath testing devices available for practicioners.
