Guided Mode
Guided Mode is a new default state of the device. It can be enabled/disabled via user menu. Guided Mode includes additional screens to assist users in performing a drug test. The new mode is designed to compliment Alcolizer provided training and is AS4760:2019 compliant. The existing display mode is now called ‘Expert’.

QR Assist – QR Codes
Some common status items now have a QR Code. With the ease of hovering a camera to the QR code, this will take the user directly to Alcolizer’s help page with further information and troubleshooting.
Other feature additions
Improved Language Toggle
Druglizer LE5 Drug Tester now offers up to 5 languages. The chosen language can be set in device configuration and will remain in place once chosen.
Test Connection Button
The “Test Connection” Button located in the AlcoCONNECTTM menu. This tests if the currently paired Bluetooth serial device is connected.
“Waiting…” State
Drug groups will now display “Waiting…” until activity is detected on the site. This will be easier to identify if a site is going towards “Insufficient Saliva”.
New firmware
These new device features will be available on new all Druglizer LE5 Drug Tester devices purchased after 13th February 2023. Devices will be shipped in Guided Mode from the factory but can be switched back to Expert Mode by the user. For further information refer to the Product User Manual.
