Global events of 2020 and 2021 have had significant impact on supply chain and component sourcing costs. As an Australian manufacturer, Alcolizer Technology is not immune to these global trends.
Negative impact on the supply chain was successfully mitigated early in the pandemic but as time has progressed the commercial ramifications must be addressed.
As such Alcolizer Technology must increase pricing of some key product lines to accommodate these cost movements.
As of 1st July 2021 the following products will have price increases:
- Alcolizer HH3, now $795 + GST
- Alcolizer HH4, now $1,295 + GST
- Alcolizer LE5, now $2,295 + GST
However, the recent change to 12 month calibration for the devices will help mitigate some of this cost increase for customers.
These devices are now sold with 12 month calibration rather than 6 months, this represents a $90 + GST saving for Alcolizer HH3 and HH4 and $140 + GST saving for Alcolizer LE5
When taking this calibration saving benefit into account the cost increases are only 1.3%, 4.8% and 2.9% respectively.
