HLTPAT010 reflects the latest compliance standards and is considered the industry standard for specimen collection.

Ensure your testing program aligns with Australian & New Zealand Standards, State and Commonwealth legislation, and industry best practice codes. (The previous qualification HLTPAT005 has been superseded under updated regulatory requirements).

Under Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines, all drug screening officers must hold a Statement of Attainment (such as HLTPAT010) to demonstrate competency as a collector. Gain confidence in legally compliant testing while developing industry-recognised skills.

Training is delivered with a combination of online theory and Microsoft Teams practical assessment sessions. This training delivers:

  • Robust, legally defensible collection practices
  • Training aligned with VET requirements
  • Practical, industry-relevant delivery
