Upgrade Your Testing Instruments with the Instant Asset Write-Off
Australian small businesses can immediately deduct the full cost of eligible assets under $20,000 through the Instant Asset Write-Off. This makes now a great time to review and upgrade your workplace drug and alcohol testing instruments if your business meets the eligibility requirements.
What is the Instant Asset Write-Off?
Eligible businesses can claim an immediate tax deduction for assets costing less than $20,000. To qualify, assets must be used for business purposes, cost less than $20,000 per asset and be installed and ready for use by 30 June 2026. Further information available on the ATO website.
Eligible Instruments Under $20,000
A number of our Australian made drug and alcohol testing solutions fall within the threshold, including our:
- Wall Mounted Breathalysers including Centurion Quantum, Zero and Wall Mount 4
- Handheld Instruments including LE5, HH4, and HH3
- Druglizer LE5 for oral fluid drug testing
The threshold applies per asset, meaning eligible businesses can claim multiple units across multiple sites.
